Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of applications and services operated by Contact Pals Incorporated ("Company", "we", "us"). By using any of our products, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, subscribing to a service, or using any Contact Pals Incorporated product, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use our services. By using them, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (passphrase, PIN, magic link). You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at corporate@contactpals.org if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed on the schedule disclosed at the time of purchase (monthly or annual). Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. Prices are shown inclusive of any applicable taxes where required by law.

We offer a no-questions-asked refund policy. To request a refund, contact the product directly or email corporate@contactpals.org. Refunds are processed within 48 hours of request.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal (linked from THEAPPS.ORG), by contacting the product directly, or by submitting a cancellation request at THEAPPS.ORG. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless you request an immediate refund.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

• Post, transmit, or distribute unlawful, harmful, or harassing content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account
• Impersonate any person, entity, or AI VIP
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Use automated means to scrape or abuse our services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice where circumstances warrant.

7. Intellectual Property

Content on our platforms — including application code, text, VIP personalities, and audio — is the property of Contact Pals Incorporated or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you create and post, but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it within the applicable service.

8. AI-Generated Content

Some of our applications include AI-generated content via VIP characters and automated services. This content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee its accuracy. AI outputs should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Contact Pals Incorporated shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after a revision constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
